Lori Ganni

Bon Bini, my name is Lori Ganni and I am from Colorado. Painting has been an integral part of my life for 50 years. At six years old. I announced that I was going to be a painter and 14 years old I sold my first painting. I have been studying and practicing my craft ever since. I received formal training while still in high school: first figure drawing at John Herron School of Art and graphic arts at the Art Institute of Atlanta. I continued in college at Colorado State Univ. Denver and then at the Art Student’s League in Denver. Over the years, I have had the pleasure of displaying my art in  coffee shops, restaurants, galleries and even had a one person show at the Koshare Indian Museum in La Junta, Colorado. Many years were taken up with raising a family, and having a career in Information Technology. Now, I am retired and am expanding my art with Plein Air, am teaching painting and design to kids and adults and painting, painting, painting! Art has always been a healing path for me and I enjoy sharing that path with others. In 2018, I participated in and received honorable mention awards a Victor Celebrates the Arts, Victor, CO and Westcliffe, CO. I also was part of Florence Colorado’s Plein air festival and Sangre De Christo Art Center’s Holiday Show called On Your Own. Enjoy the deep brush strokes, bright colors and considerable joy that I put into every painting.
